Mac computer

For a long time I’ve worked with PC computers. The more I got to know them, the more I wanted a Mac… Finally, this in October 2007, my wish came true. The old and carefully built PC was sent to my DJ studio where it continues to serve as a music recorder and digital music source. My fiancee (at that time), and me chose to buy an, at that time just recently released, new 24″ iMac. We were among the first five people who got it in Croatia, which makes me kinda proud - although we paid for the computer in total approx. 45 days in advance. Those guys that represent Apple locally could really use some lessons from supply chain management…
Anyway, couple of days upon arrival, we upgraded it to the newly released Mac OSX 10.5 (Leopard) and added 2 GB of RAM (now with 3GB in total). We also added an external Western Digital 1 TB My Book Studio Edition for some added storage space.
There were some problems with the monitor (actually with the screen construction), so we had to have it replaced under warranty. This instance we used do replace the internal 320GB drive with additional 1 TB of storage space. It works faster, though now there is a slight HDD humm present… <to be updated…>
Wished for in 2006.
