This is where I live. My fiancee and me have a flat of some 55 square meters in the attic of my family house.

Simple Google maps integration works perfectly!

On a separate MAPPER page you can find this dome in a separate page, which is my first implementation of a custom template.

B&W Zeppelin has landed

It goes without saying that when one is fascinated with Mac computers (like me!), fascination with iPods comes naturally. Currently there are two iPods and one iPhone between me and my fiancee. We’ve built up a considerable iTunes library, and now buying accessories for iPods suddenly makes sense.

Although I’ve got three pairs of 2.0 speakers and two 5.1 systems in the house, B&W’s newest toy is simply too cute to resist.Basically the zeppelin is a high end boombox, but without an integrated source of the music. The construction and integrated amplifiers are all constructed with care, in order to provide the finest sound possible. Is it so? I cannot say, since I haven’t yet tried it out.

I reserved myself a review for T3 magazine with the editor when the item shows up with the local distributor, and after listening to it extensively I will give you my honest opinion. Currently this is one of my objects of desire, and I’ve wanted it from the time I read about it, on CES in January ‘08… Find more info on B&W official site.

ER45 rides again

Finally I’ve started working on ER45.com. For those who read this blog know that there is a connection between this page’s name and my original clubbing site for Croatians. For years it has been working as a forum (forum.er45.com), but now that the web2.0 tools are mature - its ready to fulfill its potential. This blog is actually, beside from being my personal web-spot, a testing ground for technologies that will be implemented in the ER45 v08.

One sunny afternoon my friends Ivan, Bruno, Hrvoje and Zwer and me, all Alfa Romeo owners, gathered and shot some photos of our cars. Hope you like the selected photos. Since my old faithfull EOS 350D is full of Egypt sand I’m not totally satisfied with the results, but some creative use of Aperture 2 corrected most of the faults, at least on the selected few photos.

This was a actuall a test gallery I used for determining the best style of galleries to be used with this site. I chose ThickBox from PhotoXhibit.

Why “THE33″ you wonder? To tell you the truth it was a spur of the moment. Tried it out, liked it, choose to keep it. Obviously the name was chosen in relation to the blogs http address. The logic behind that name is a strange one to say the least, but none the less I will share it with you. Around the year 2000 I started a site that dealt with a clubbing scene in Croatia. The name for the site was ER45, with the same http address; www.er45.com. There is a loose connection of the name and the topics site revolved around. ER is short for Emergency Room, and 45 is the number of revolutions a vinyl record does when playing. There is also the convenience in the fact that these 4 letters-numbers are all next to each other on a qwerty keyboard. As you might know, a turntable spins at 33 rpms also. Hence the registration of er33.com. At first I wanted to use it for some sort of an extension for er45.com, but a couple of days ago I decided to use it for the blog… And here it is now. So pls, no more questions about the name…
